Sandhill Crane Hunts

At Backwater Waterfowl we offer morning and afternoon crane hunts. Our hunts are conducted over full-body Sandhill Crane decoys in a variety of habitat. If you do a morning duck or goose hunt with us we offer afternoon Crane hunts for $115 per person. More times than not there is the opportunity to bag a few geese on these hunts as well.

All hunters must have a special Crane permit that is free when you buy your licence but is required for the hunt.

It is truly unbelievable to have hundreds of these giant birds decoy to within twenty yards.
